About This Game Shape an empty island into a wacky ecosystem. Spirit is a simple and casual ecosystem game where you start with an empty island. New random inhabitants will seek refuge on your island over time, both animals, plants and other elements. It's in your power to zap them, or grant them amnesty in your world. As you give and take power from various species, they will thrive or wither away. But take care to keep a balance of creatures, plants and minerals, or your fragile world will soon fall apart. Adventure Mode: Play trough 9 missions, and unlock new creatures, plants and minerals for the Free Mode. Key Features: * Give animals/plants/minerals energy, and their species will multiply and reproduce more over time * Take energy from animals/plants/minerals and their species will die and/or stop reproducing * New animals/plants/minerals occasionally appear near your island, and can be incorporated into your ecosystem * Animals have different diets, and need food to survive * Land randomly grows over time, creating and expanding islands * Day/night, random weather and disasters that affect spawning and animal behaviors * Adventure Mode gives short challenges, and unlocks new creatures, plants and minerals * Free Mode lets you choose what objects to start with, from creatures, plants and minerals unlocked * Animal poop The Food Chain At the heart of Spirit is the food chain, which you must carefully balance. An example island may start off as a simple landmass with bushes and a few birds. The Spirit can energize and grow the objects you desire, and the game world learns and evolves from your actions. Creating more bushes and energizing them will grow more berries, which again supports more birds. Energizing- and allowing the birds to multiply will create a colorful display, but tipping the balance too much will leave all the bushes picked dry, and eventually the birds starving. As new inhabitants seek amnesty on your islands, you have to make tough decisions as to i.e. what kind of carnivore population your handful of birds can sustain, or if you have to seek out alternate food sources or more space first. The objective in Free Mode is simply to create a thriving island, which under your guidance can become huge and vibrant, while left untended will soon wither and become an empty lump of land. In Adventure Mode, each mission has a more specific objective, with unique wacky experiences. 6d5b4406ea Title: SpiritGenre: Casual, IndieDeveloper:Nylund GamesPublisher:Nylund GamesRelease Date: 5 Jan, 2017 Spirit Reset Key This game is intresting cute and fun, I love playing it.... but I can't get past past the whack-a-mole level two, and no, its not becuase I'm bad at it but rather the destroy button works inconsistently. There are still 6 other levels but a of now I'm stuck. Worth the money though.. Good, easy entertainment. I really enjoyed relaxing with the free mode. Not the most advance game, but definitely worth the low price.. Good, easy entertainment. I really enjoyed relaxing with the free mode. Not the most advance game, but definitely worth the low price.. I was so happy to see this get Greenlit, I thought "I'll just go and play for 10 minutes" to see if it lived up to what I hoped it would be... 1 and a half hours later... and I'm still playing, totally hooked, great job Devs! :D. So, in order to play, you have to go through the title screen which is watching 6 trees grow out of the ground, 1 at a time and some rabbit moving around. Then you have the title of the game dispayed for 5 seconds. If you think that's not important, just wait. I went through a few scenarios: "Click these carrots and make them grow" "click these eggs to make them grow" etc.Takes about 5 minutes each, but in between, you have to wait for the title screen to do its thing each time. The third scenario was this wierd "whack a mole" game that seemed really out of place. It was at night, in water and I was clicking on moles. .... OkaaayyyMaddened by the fact that I was playing more "title screen" and loading screens then the game, I tried sandbox mode in the hopes I could get more out of it. Fish and butterflies I think. At least, that's what ened up on my island. Fish, bugs, butterflies, and not much else. If you delete trees, that's it, no getting them back.I tried going back to the scenarios to see if I missed a tutorial or something on how to get different things on my island. I had managed to pick up a carrot and placed it on my island in sandbox mode, maybe the same could be done for trees? Maybe I needed to scare away fish for rabbits to come? But the game slowed to a crawl when I tried to play the next scenario, spanting trees with squirrels. So, a memory leak, slow, slow load times and not much to do until the game says you can. Nice idea, not so great execution. There are better time wasters out there.. Pretty relaxing game with animals (rabbits) cruising around the island(s) of your control, just digging carrots and having a grand ol' time!Nice for people relaxing with a glass of wine or maybe a J. Enjoy at your own pace!
